Art Program

REACH Inc. started its participant art program 3 years ago and is dedicated to helping every individual find passion and purpose through artistic teachings and training. Last year, REACH Inc. collaborated with Julie Thompson, the owner of Wild Pigment Studio to provide a professional, vibrant setting for our
participants to express their feelings through painting. Our staff Art Instructors teach classes 5 days a week and offer “outdoor studio” sessions during nicer weather.

Each piece of art is finished and framed with exotic hardwood. Artists’ works are displayed for sale at our Upcycled Retail Store, the County Government Building and at several popular local businesses. Proceeds from individual sales are shared with the artist in the form of a commission check that brings a sense of value and purpose that far exceeds the actual dollar amount.

We would like to upgrade our supplies to add things like easels for every individual, special brushes for handicapped artists, a wider variety of painting mediums, and equipment to support our outdoor activities.
