Life Enhancement Programs
For People with disabilities, life can be a constant struggle with no time to relax, have fun, or enjoy the simple things in life and it is time that changed. We would like to take our participant’s on a Road Trip for a day or two, or maybe three. Hearing the sound of a coyote at night or the smell of bacon cooking over an open fire are things that most of us can relate to. This is something that people with disabilities can only dream of.
That is where the staff and volunteers at REACH come in. Disabilities can be set aside through thoughtful planning and desire. We want everyone to have a chance to go on a campout, see a waterfall, roll dice at a casino, or ride a horse in a rodeo. Our Road Trips are filled with new experiences, adventures and the most important ingredient, fun. Here are some Road Trip ideas; a Silver Falls State Park Waterfall tour, a Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler Cruise, or a Whale Watching and Aquarium tour with s’mores on the beach…
The adventurer would pay some of the costs and the rest could be funded by scholarship donations from our outside allies.
